Langdon Cook Presents: Friday, October 25th at the LCC Forum

Langdon Cook, author of “The Mushroom Hunters: On the Trail of an Underground America” and “Fat of the Land: Adventures of a 21st Century Forager,” will be our featured speaker on the Friday before the Mt. Pisgah Mushroom Festival. Langdon’s newest book “The Mushroom Hunter” is getting great reviews. It examines human behavior, economics, food, society, and nature all the while we are being entertained and enlightened by stories of gastronomy and mushrooms.

Langdon likes to write about the intersection of nature and food…wild foods and foraging…and the fascinating characters who inhabit that intersection.
