Mountain Rose Sunday Series – Mushroom Dye Talk and Demo

Come explore mushroom dyes with mycologist and dyer Cheshire Mayrsohn. After a talk about which wild mushrooms make color and what color they make; Cheshire will demonstrate the dye process. Everyone can take home a few yarn dye samples and new found knowledge of how to get started at home. There will also be a display of a few of Cheshire’s creations that she has dyed and knitted.
