CMS is happy to announce that we will once again be supporting an in person Mount Pisgah Arboretum (MPA) Mushroom Festival on Halloween (Oct 31st). However, we are taking a time machine back to the beginning days when it was a smaller event that was once called a Mushroom Show. This years event will focus on the mushroom display, edible & poisonous display, fun fungal facts, and all of the other educational displays that CMS normally contributes. There will also be music, a few food and craft vendors, and the guided mushroom walks.

Our festival partner, Lane Community College, will be continuing the new tradition of a Mushroom Show Mycoblitz on iNaturalist that was started last year for the 2020 Virtual Festival. More details about the 2021 Mushroom Show Mycoblitz.
