Wild Mushroom Identification Class

We had a great turnout for last Friday’s “Introduction to Wild Mushroom Identification” Class at the Amazon Community Center. Thirty eight Eugenians who are not currently CMS members went home with a greater understanding of: the Biology and Life Cycle of Wild Mushrooms, their Nutritional Value, the Macro Characteristics used to identify wild mushrooms, Wild mushrooms to avoid, 12 Easy to identify wild edible mushrooms (and a few bonus ones), plus Information on how and where to harvest wild mushrooms.  We finished up the evening with a tasting of Lion’s Mane and Blue Oyster mushrooms.  Thanks to everyone who came out and asked some great questions.  We hope to see you at a future CMS meeting and on a CMS Foray (if you choose to join CMS).
