No September 2021 CMS meeting

There is no public CMS monthly meeting scheduled for September. However, we do have 2 meetings scheduled for October. On Monday, October 18, 2021 we will have our annual joint meeting with the Native Plant Society on a topic of interests to both groups. Then, on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, CMS will have it’s normally scheduled October meeting.

The latest on CMS events …



CMS monthly meetings: We do have a contract for in person meetings at the Amazon Community Center for the 2021/2022 season. We will start scheduling in person meetings when we feel it is safe and Amazon capacity limits increase. For now, we will continue with virtual meetings on the CMS YouTube channel. 

Community classes and forays are back:  In the fall, CMS offers a Beginning Mushroom Foraging Class, an Adult Foray, and a Family Foray through the Amazon Community Center. All have been scheduled and will be held in accordance with Amazon Community Center Guidelines. Find out more including links to register here.

Member only forays: For now, we will be conducting members only forays in the same manner as we did for the 2020/2021 mushroom season. We currently have mixed signals (from various TV stations) on potential coming rains. I am hopeful the forecast on weather.com is correct.
