Oregon Mycological Society 2008 Mushroom Show

Join Oregon Mycological Society at their 58th annual Mushroom Show, Sunday, October 12, Noon to Five. Location: Cheatham Hall, World Forestry Center, near the Portland Zoo. Admission: Adults $5, Students & Seniors $3, children under 12 free.

OMS Describes the event:

This colorful event also showcases mushroom cookery or preservation, toxic mushrooms information, books for sale, demonstrations of mushroom dyeing, a “Kids’ Corner” and much more. OMS Members put this all together between 5:30 a.m. and noon on that Sunday for a noon to 5 p.m. show. It’s a miracle - and a fund-raiser for programs and the library.
