CMS Meetings are now at the Hilyard Community Center
The Cascade Mycological Society hosts monthly meetings, September through May on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. We meet in person at the fully accessible Hilyard Community Center, located at 2580 Hilyard St, Eugene.
We no longer livestream our in person meetings to the CMS YouTube channel. If granted permission by the speaker, we do record our meetings and upload them to YouTube in the days after the meeting.
We announce all meetings on the CMS homepage, on the CMS Facebook page, in the CMS Enews, and in the Eugene Weekly Calendar section.
It is a good idea to check one of the above sources if you plan on attending in person as we sometimes only do livestreams when our speaker is not located in Eugene or does not want to travel.
Come mingle with and learn from expert mycologists and the local mushroom enthusiasts of CMS. All CMS monthly meetings are open to the public. Meetings start with announcements of upcoming CMS events, then we introduce our guest speaker for the evening. Topics are varied, but focus on a fungi related subject. You are welcome to bring mushrooms in for identification.
